Oingo Boingo on “The Gong Show”

Last night, my husband and I were watching old episodes of that 1970’s daytime TV mayhem known as The Gong Show, and remembering how much joy it brought to our childhoods. Created and emceed by Chuck Barris, The Gong Show, featured a variety of acts judged and often gonged by celebrity judges. In this clip, The Mystic Knights of the Oingo Boingo, take over the stage in psychedelic outfits and over the top musicianship.
