what can be said about the most famous trip in modern tripping history? maybe just that it started with:

“two bags of grass, seventy five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, asalt shaker half-full of cocaine and a whole galaxy of multicolored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers… also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of budweiser, a pint of raw ether, and two dozen amyls…” (Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas).

The Psychedelic Rebirth

The Flaming Lips is a very consistent Psychedelic band devoted to explore the psychedelic sound and visuals alike. “Watching the Planets” is from their concept  album titled “Embryonic” (2009). This is the best psychedelic album I’ve heard in many years, featuring 21st century shamanic lyrics and experimental sound
