Terence McKenna – The Message

20 Apr

As valuable a message as you’ll ever hear. A great combination of words and visuals.

ANAMNESIA : a loss of forgetfulness

12 Apr

This short film is pretty epic and touches on some psychedelic, very Terence McKenna/Martin McLuhan-esque ideas, presented with inspiring imagery. An allegory with multiple interpretations, it conveys insights which usually only jump out once in a DMT-flash.

CATNIP: EGRESS TO OBLIVION?

16 Mar

An educational anti-catnip video done in the style of 1960’s anti-drug propaganda. Hilarious.

Xavier Renegade Angel – Shakashuri Blowdown

29 Dec

“Xavier, Renegade Angel” is some seriously fucked up trippy internet show. The last few minutes of this specific episode are quite extraordinary.

Hyperspace

24 Aug

This is a superedit of hyperspace sequences from films. It includes clips from 2001 (of course), Altered States, The Black Hole, and Life on Earth, among others.

How Will You Create The Universe

13 Jul

This has a light-hearted psychedelic weirdness about it; almost like a Sesame Street segment from another planet. It was done by the same people that did Bjork’s thoroughly excellent Wanderlust video.

Terence McKenna: Terra Lucida (World Of Light)

14 May

TerenceMckennaTube is a website which delivers dozens of hours of classic, mind bending talks by Terence Mckenna, arguably the most important psychedelic philosopher in the history of psychedelic thought. This short video is an audio collage made of recently recovered recordings of McKenna.

Dancing on the Timeline

11 May

This video steps outside of the 3-dimensional perspective of time to recreate the supra-dimensional viewpoint that psychedelics sometimes facilitate.

Vertical progression through the human brain

24 Mar

Visualizing the brain’s activity turns out to be even more psychedelic than a Rorschach test.

Spirals

26 Jan

Some may say mathematics is the language of nature, I tend to believe that mathematics is the language of our human mind.

Did you ever feel like psychedelics help you tap in to the operating system of your mind? why do we all suddenly recognize the patterns of clouds as fractals? where do all these spirals come from? and what do all these numbers mean?

Ah… and glittery glue!!
