Psychic Land by 2veinte

10 Apr

2veinte are a bunch of funky Argentinians, who do commercial motion design and on their free time they fill their droppers full of liquid psychedelia and squirt it all over our unsuspecting brains.

Bonus trip:

Bermuda – Calvin Frederick

9 Apr

Hart to believe, but this breath-taking video was done without any computer effects, just stop motion photography.

Pasacina

8 Apr

This is a beautiful latvian animation and its “remix”.

Enjoy!

Willy Wonka original psychedelic boat trip

7 Apr

Back in 1971 Gene Wilder played the hallucinatory bizzare figure of Willy Wonka (later to be played by Johnny Deppp, in Burton’s 2005 version “Charlie and the Chocolate factory”. The boat ride scene really tips the edge in terms of taking the passengers (and the viewers) into a kind of horrific trip.

James Pants – Clouds Over Pacific

6 Apr

A triumphantly VHS-retro-looking video for James Pants by visual magician Iasos.

Engaged in the Ritual

Relentless.

SOLIPSIST

4 Apr

While I was discussing with a friend recently, I realized that dreams are a gate to real psychedelism,

one of the doors of perception, allowing our mind to create boundless landscapes, fractalistic cosmic inner worlds,

where you can listen how it’s smells good, stroke the colors and obviously taste your intuition…

Another great psychedelic clip from Bjork.

Fantastic Planet (“La Planète Sauvage”)

1 Apr

..the beautiful and award-winning classic from 1973 by René Laloux!  It also has a great psychedelic soundtrack by Alain Goraguer (you might recognize some of the sounds from hip-hop producer Madlib’s “Quasimoto” project).
