Magic

9 Mar

For me, this video evokes that light feeling latent in the transience of springtime.

Personal Jesus

8 Mar

Is it just me or do all the people in this video seem like they are having the weirdest trip in the desert?
I especially like the part where there is a telephone in the middle of  the desert, it reminded me Andy Warhols’  phone to god.

Regal Safari – Light

The chrysanthemum mandala feels somewhat familiar.

Star Slinger – Mornin’

24 Feb

This video for Star Slinger’s song Mornin’ has a warm 70’s-psychedelia look and sound to it. I wish every morning looked like this.

Chrysalide by The Luck of Eden Hall

20 Feb

The Luck of Eden Hall is a contemporary psychedelic band with a great sound and style. What I liked especially about their clip is the way it mixes 60’s psychedelia visual style with more contemporary visuals. Enjoy.

“Skeletons Having Sex on a Tin Roof” by Orphic Oxtra

Did you see that cat around 1:20? There was a white cat, alright…

Daedelus “Righteous Fists of Harmony”

Astral dreams on the brink of cosmic consciousness.

Psychedelic Beyonce – Countdown

13 Feb

After we’ve had a psychedelic Lady Gaga, a psychedelic Rihanna, and a psychedelic Keisha, last October Beyonce came out with a new video clip full of exubertantly flashy colors and a very psychedelically evocative style.

“Pon De Floor” by Major Lazer

12 Feb

This is outrageous, preposterous, decadent, a case of moral decline and sooo not safe to watch at work. This is what became of those children that you forgot to pick up at the kindergarten… sixteen years ago. What else can I say to make you watch it? I promise: it will blow your mind! and your ass might follow…
