1960’s Intermission Time Animation

Many years ago, I found this great video tape of vintage drive-in movie intermission animations at Kim’s Mondo Video in NYC St.Mark’s Square-the same square in which I witnessed Joey Ramone crossing the street in requisite all black using a classy cane. When I saw this totally psychedelic Peter Max style animation, my lid was officially flipped. I especially love the cow that morphs into a hamburger. Downtown Dubai New Year’s Eve 2015

New Year’s Eve 2015 has gone past, but it’s a shame to think that all that money spent on fireworks and glowing city lights was spent on one perishing moment in time, so I’d like to celebrate it again here on the DPV. One of the places which lavished the greatest sum of money on impressive fireworks the following year was Dubai, one of the richest and most awesomely designed cities in the world.
