Some more exquisite 1960s psychedelia by Henri-Georges Clouzot.
Released today, April 12 for Russia’s Cosmonautics Day, Kokosmos is a purely visual work, at a crossroad between a fashion film, a music piece and an experimental video – created by Russian director Anna Radchenko.
Featuring model Yana Dobroliubova, recognized for her striking and ethereal looks which break away from traditional beauty standards, Kokosmos is a tribute to Russia’s infatuation with space. The director worked exclusively with a selection of Russian fashion designers and stayed true to the post-soviet space theme through a neon colour palette.

The Daily Psychedelic Video is proud to announce its participation in a groundbreaking event which will take place in Catalunia this July (6-12 July). A week-long seminar, Expand will use psychedelics as a prism through which to explore topics which are crucial to life in the 21st century such as technology, identity, spirituality, ecology, social activism and more. Beside your humble servant, who has been extensively writing, thinking and teachinfg about psychedelics for the past decade , the team of teachers include Galia Tanay and Boaz Yaniv, two long-time psychedelic explorers and activists with a strong background in Buddhism, social activism and the arts. We will be joined by Californian author Erik Davis, a leading countercultural intellectual and one of the foremost psychedelic minds of our time.
The seminar will have not only theoretical but also experiential parts (not including the ingestion of substances). Among other things it will include a class on psychedelic video aesthetics as well as a special screening.

Looks like a cool exhibition.
This classic sequence from Henri-Georges Clouzot’s never released L’enfer (1964) was pioneering in its use of light to achieve psychedelic effects. It still takes the breath away.
