Alexander Nemenkov made this fascinating journey to the underworld. Alexander loves the music of Yello and wanted to animate something to a cinematic piece of theirs.
Other inspiration came from: Ivan Maximov, Hayao Miyazaki, M.C. Escher, Salvador Dali, Jacek Yerka, Joe Vaux, Carlos Castaneda. And of course side-scrolling video games.

Not exactly visually psychedelic, but this video has a special quality in it’s atmosphere of mystery, experimentation, a different consciousness.
Whenever I book a flight to a big city I try to make it a night landing. Those pulsing breathing organisms of light look so alien and soothing.
Epilepsy warning! Although I don’t know why anyone with epilepsy would want to read this blog. Technically, there is nothing wrong with the soundtrack, but I’m not sure about the composer’s mind.

This is a very cool home made music clip for this amazing psychedelic song by the Beatles. The music is very trippy while the lyrics are some of the deepest I’ve known.
There is nothing like a bored bunch of teenagers to make for an exciting video clip. However it is open to decide if this particular one is subversive, or to be more exact – what it subverts: mainstream culture, or psychedelic culture. This clip mixes psychedelic imagery from suburbia with long scenes of eating a burger in McDonalds. It is hard to realize what its supposed to mean or of it even is supposed to mean something, but it smells like teen spirit, and I like it!
