This video for “On the Platform” by The Bewitched Hands is a visual revelry, telling the story of dimensional conquest driven by love. Perhaps an archetypal allegory for all evolutionary leaps.
This video evokes altered-state imagery that will be familiar to many viewers. The black grid lines, jewel-like colors, and hints of embarkation, observation, and approach are especially redolent. The patterns integrate into the subject matter to create a formscape reminiscent of hyperspatial modalities. The visual rhythm is cohesive and masterfully executed to compliment the Blackbird Blackbird song Pure.

Special Thanks to Scott Draves, Founder of the Electric Sheep
created for The Filmshop Presents…Eye Candy
Electric Sheep is a collaborative abstract artwork founded by Scott Draves. It’s run by thousands of people all over the world, and can be installed on any ordinary PC or Mac. When these computers “sleep”, the Electric Sheep comes on and the computers communicate with each other by the internet to share the work of creating morphing abstract animations known as “sheep”.
Anyone watching one of these computers may vote for their favorite animations using the keyboard. The more popular sheep live longer and reproduce according to a genetic algorithm with mutation and cross-over. Hence the flock evolves to please its global audience. You can also design your own sheep and submit them to the gene pool.
The result is a collective “android dream”, blending man and machine to create an artificial lifeform.
Oneohtrix Point Never – Pelham Island Road
11 DecThis one is breathing light and color. There is a constant swelling of complexity, a constant unfolding movement and at the same time everything seems to return to simplicity and form. It’s dazzling and soothing, just what the doctor ordered. Enjoy!

“Timothy Leary on the beach”, could have been an alternate title to this one, which features a Leary soundtrack and spectacular of the sea, a beautiful girl in bikini and the sunset. A feeling of nostalgia fills this 17 minutes long piece by Alessandro Carvalho which has a distinct 1960’s feel.

Edo Amin – Si Hanetek Hatotali, from Eddie King
8 DecBack in 1992 Gidi Dar created the legendary Israeli film “Eddie King“, then Edo Amin created “Si Hanetek Hatotali” (The peak of ultimate disconnection) which became the hymn of an Israeli generation. A great song with a cool psychedelic clip which makes my heart leap with joy.

7 DecA video clip made with some of my friends, it relates a story where the politics and governments use psychedelic drugs on the cops as experiments to make them more reactive…
