I’m always fascinated by works of art which look at time in a backwards way. The film Memento by Christopher Nolan (To my mind, still his finest creation) is one of my favorite examples, and one of the most amusing (and very recommended) explorations of the hilarious implications of backwards time is the first episode of the third season of Red Dwarf. This new video which was shot in streets of Jerusalem is definitely a new favorite for backwards music clip.
A psychedelic love video
22 JunA video which was done by a friend for our friends’ wedding which took place yesterday, in the longest day of the year. The voice in the background is the groom singing “I love you”. I loved the shooting style, which uses the simple technique of suddenly pointing the camera towards the sun or the illuminated sky again and again, stunning the camera with light and achieving a special transcendent quality, which transforms the singer’s words into a proclamation of love to the sun and the universe itself. The gaze, which is directed towards the sun again and again from various settings in the Israeli environment, makes this into a love song to the sun who is with us everywhere radiating its glowing light. Beautiful.

11 FebA beautiful video made by a 23 years old Israeli guy on a couchsurfing trip through Scandinavia shows how much you can achieve with a good camera and lots of enthusiasm. The song is “This must be it” by the Norwegian group Röyksopp. The Guy’s name is Idan Vagas.
My dear mother
27 OctAs we remember, television programs for babies can be very psychedelic. They can also be highly disturbing as this video proves again… The Hebrew lyrics are dedicated to “Dear mother” but all I could see were the huge dilated pupils of the heavily stoned butterflies and rabbits.
Evoking Spirits
