Anthony Francisco Scheppered landed a number 8 on last week’s list of “Top 50 Psychedelic Videos of all time“. Schepperd is one of the most gifted psychedelic animators today. These three short videos, excerpts really, are enough to recognize the scope of his talent.

The Beatles – Only A Northern Song
28 AprWe’ve had a 2 videos from the Beatles’ Yellow Submarine Beatles on Wednesday’s list of “Top 50 psychedelic videos of all time“, both in the top 5, which made me think of the film.
The years have passed and only a northern song remains one of my favorite songs ever. With the 1968 “Yellow Submarine” animations it is one of it’s kind.

10 Apr2veinte are a bunch of funky Argentinians, who do commercial motion design and on their free time they fill their droppers full of liquid psychedelia and squirt it all over our unsuspecting brains.

25 MarYuri Norstein’s beautiful animations “Seasons” and “Hedgehog in the Fog” may not be psychedelic in an explicit way. But I think their richness in texture and form and “sense of metamorphosis” make them more than suitable to our purpose of providing you with something beautiful and maybe even meaningful to watch when in that… special kind of mood.
