After 22 years of resting after “Pygmalion” in 1995, 1989 English rock band Slowdive returns in there new self titled album, “Slowdive”. Released on the 5th of this May.
If your a Shoegazing/Dream Pop fan, i would most definitly give this album a listen, as this marks the return of one of the genre defining bands as well as one of the greatest Shoegazing/Dream Pop bands to ever exist.
Oh how I love the retro groove on this tune. Be sure to hang in until 1:30-that’s when the visuals get REALLY psychedelic.

Omeleto is honesty such a good channel. There videos are usually short, but hit home on so many levels. There videos range from animated shorts to interviews to emotional rollercoasters to idealogical, sociological and philosophical shorts. I would highly recommend giving some of there videos a look so i too can help inspire one 🙂

“Venus Fly” by Grimes (who also directed the video) and Janelle Monáe brings us plenty of over the top psychedelia: the air is dense with feathers, bubbles, petals and white digital artifacts, there is always something bursting in slow motion and stuff that does not get smashed is on fire. Beyond that we also get popular kalaidoscope effects, neon and black contrasts and lots of trippy fashion. Have fun!
