Benjamin did some 3D animations, printed them out and messed around with the prints with watercolours and stuff. Sure makes that CGI look lots more organic.

A short animation by Fred Huergo of geometric crystalline concrescence. You can almost feel the weightless flow. I only wish the video was 10 times as long.
This video for “On the Platform” by The Bewitched Hands is a visual revelry, telling the story of dimensional conquest driven by love. Perhaps an archetypal allegory for all evolutionary leaps.

Bimbo gets sucked into an Inception-like initiatic journey where nothing is what it seems.

Morphing with Jack Dubben
15 DecThe beautiful videos of Jack Dubben make excellent, hyper-psychedelic use of morphing effects.
And here is another delightful animation by Dubben.
Chris Casady – Pencil Dance (1988)
13 Dec
Cool abstract hand-drawn (and some stop-motion) effects animation piece by Chris Casady. Composited effects by Chris can be seen in Tron (1982) and The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension (1984). Check out his Youtube channel for fascinating effects sequence breakdowns.
The fluidity of the work brings to mind a possibility of visionary inspiration.
The Microcosm is the Macrocosm

This Yeasayer video goes seasonally psychedelic as it follows a cycle of birth and rebirth in our spiral galaxy.
