Fully Adult license – D7
5 JanBack in the sixties Timothy Leary used to say (look up his 1966 playboy interview for the full discussion) LSD can give a woman hundreds of orgasms in one trip. This one brought me back to those pleasurable climatic days from the summer of love.

Morphing with Jack Dubben
15 DecThe beautiful videos of Jack Dubben make excellent, hyper-psychedelic use of morphing effects.
And here is another delightful animation by Dubben.
Trippy Trends in Minecraft: Freefall
2 OctWe have covered Minecraft before here on dpv. But this time the psychedelic activity is completely user generated. And this proofs an important point: If people would live in a box of legos they would still look for a way to trip.
It is also interesting to compare the aesthetics especially of the first video to the trippy sequence of 2001: A Space Odyssey.
Daisy Daisy ‘Michelle Plays Ping Pong’

Apparition – Klaus Obermaier & Ars Electronica Futurelab
10 Aug
As a performer and a videast, I am strongly interested by both dance, performing and video !
Recently, on of my friend showed me this stuning work by Klaus Obermaier in inyteractive video,
I naturally wanted to share it with you !
An interactive dance and media performance conceived and directed by Klaus Obermaier, in collaboration with the Ars Electronica Futurelab, featuring Desirée Kongerød and Rob Tannion.
– What choreography emerges when software is your partner?
– When virtual and actual image space share the same physics?
– Where everything that moves on the stage is both interactive and independent?
– And any form, dancing or still, can be transformed into a kinetic projection surface?
