BIG BANG BIG BOOM
3 AugThis week I want to share one of my passion, which is Street art. I have been for years enjoying different artists, graphs, stencils, tags and so on…
Blu, is one of the best in a specific style, he paints walls, image after image, deleting, painting again, and creating animated short movies !
Please enjoy his version of the big bang: an unscientific point of view on the beginning and evolution of life … and how it could probably end.

Something Primitive
30 Jul“Something Primitive” is an absoutely experimental film which grabs the user into the strange world of a psilocybin mushroom trip.
“The video takes the viewer through a trip: First they’re a human being, then they are acquainted with psilocybin mushrooms – then they are inside the center of information.”
If you want to know more about the piece and it’s meaning be sure to read the artist’s statement, on YouTube, which starts with the warning that “the video has been identified by Epilepsy Action to potentially trigger seizures for people with photosensitive epilepsy. Viewer discretion is advised.”
Broadcast and the Focus Group
24 Julvexyvex has posted Broadcasts beautiful papercuts clip on this site a while ago. Here are some of the clips from their collaboration with Julian House. They are alive with a playful and childlike psychedelic spirit mixed with lots of occult symbols and imagery.
Aesthetic Species Maps
16 Jul“A time-based detail of the range of shapes and patterns within several species of flora and fauna. Genetic diversity visualized by forms which simultaneously reflect balance, symmetry, and an infinite potential for variation. ”
David Montgomery looks at the world of nature across scales, with a sharp psychedelic eye and beautiful music by Otters Making Music.

Today, I want to show you “The last red chaperone”, his version of the famous fairy…
It’s in french and spanish subtitled, but the fact here is much more about the visuals and the techniques he used to give us the perception he wanted, and it’s a success !

Popee The Performer is here to freak you out!
10 JulIn case you ever thought that even a bad trip has some truth to tell you, there should be more than enough truth in this show to endure its uncanny “realism”.
Please be careful watching this in any unstable condition of the mind and… enjoy!

Kodachrome Film Test: 1922 in Motion and Color
26 JunThis is one of the most magical things I ever came across in the www. I keep coming back to it and it never looses any of its strange emotional power. The pulsing light gives an enchanted life to the dance of picture postcard poses and the color is such an otherworldly hue, you might think the apparatus just blushed because of the overwhelming intimacy.
When we experience new technologies like the recent reinvention of 3d cinema, we feel a kind of psychedelic stimulation. This little film test might give us an idea of the thrill of the first color motion pictures.
