Sufjan Stevens has some really psychedelic videos to his music, and I’m sure he will be featured here again in the future. This short video is a great example of how music and visuals can combine to intensify the experience.
BIG BANG BIG BOOM
3 AugThis week I want to share one of my passion, which is Street art. I have been for years enjoying different artists, graphs, stencils, tags and so on…
Blu, is one of the best in a specific style, he paints walls, image after image, deleting, painting again, and creating animated short movies !
Please enjoy his version of the big bang: an unscientific point of view on the beginning and evolution of life … and how it could probably end.

Jimi Hendrix comes back to life
1 Aug
In this music video to one of his songs, the great psychedelic artist Jimi Hendrix is spiritually resurrected. During one night of camping outdoors, a group of hikers face an alteration of time and space where his spirit never died and returns for a magical performance.
Space Siren and Sleepy Sweet by Pram
31 JulYou might very well ask: so, what is supposed to be psychedelic about the clip above? Isn’t this just a bunch of very normal scientists really involved in what they are doing? Well, I can not say you are wrong. But there is just something that strikes me odd about the way their curiosity shows… also one of the papier-mâché aliens has, you know, kinda wide pupils (he’s in a dark room after all).
If you did like the Broadcast clips here and here, you might enjoy Pram’s weirdness as well. Check it out!
Something Primitive
30 Jul“Something Primitive” is an absoutely experimental film which grabs the user into the strange world of a psilocybin mushroom trip.
“The video takes the viewer through a trip: First they’re a human being, then they are acquainted with psilocybin mushrooms – then they are inside the center of information.”
If you want to know more about the piece and it’s meaning be sure to read the artist’s statement, on YouTube, which starts with the warning that “the video has been identified by Epilepsy Action to potentially trigger seizures for people with photosensitive epilepsy. Viewer discretion is advised.”
Blue Lunar Monkey (Imix Jaguar)
28 JulA few weeks ago I came across the visual work of Imix Jaguar. He creates beautiful mystical visuals with a lot of Mayan signs in them. I’m sure I’ll feature more videos by him in the future.
