Caravan Palace – “Wonderland”

20 Feb

“Wonderland” by Caravan Palace off there album “<|°_°|>” AKA “Robot Face”

Caravan Palace specializes in the genre of “Electro Swing” which in my opinion is a very interesting and amazing sound they produce.

Theres only enough electro swing artists to fit on both of my hands but Caravan Palace is by far the best. If you want to go explore more of this genre and/or music then Caravan Palace’s “PANIC!’ album is where to start your journey my friend.

No Brain

There are many flavors of psychedelia, and one–I think–is thoughtlessness. In these videos, there’s not too much to contemplate, but I’d say each is a pleasure to watch. Though I can’t recall the source, a few simple words from an album review still stick with me years and years later, “Give your brain the night off.” This weekend I provide you with three samples of 3D animation to do just that.

A friend of mine has told me he thinks this first one is a reference to a folk tale that involves a creature luring ordinary people out to the sea, appearing during a festival. He’s also told me that the vocalist’s accent is quite funny to most Swedes.

And this one is just a dream come true after having sat through a considerable number of stuffy church services growing up. Winner of a Grammy.

Thank you, Kyle, for introducing me.
