24 Jul

Ladies and Gentlemen, Australian electronic band Bag Raiders bring you, the meme, the myth, the legend, “Shooting Stars”. The official music video.

To be quite honest, this is actually a decent song to listen too. If only it wasn’t for the vast amount of memes utilizing this song, most likely more people would take it seriously. kinda like “All Stars” by Smash Mouth.

N.E.R.D. – “Squeeze Me”

3 Jul

5 years after there last album or any independent work, Squeeze Me by N.E.R.D was created solely for the 2015 movie “The Spongebob Movie: Sponge Out of Water”.

Even though this movie wasn’t very good, it still confused and intrigued me that a kids show like Spongebob were its had no previous use of psychedelic visuals, is using psychedelic visuals to both promote and entertain viewers of there movie with. I mean it worked in the long run i thought it was cool, and it makes me wonder why more shows don’t incorporate psychedelic visuals. Marketing gimmick?

A beautiful and simple message all hidden within a stunning visual masterpiece.

10 Apr

Experimental electronic band The Death Set, bring us a music video featuring an army of pop culture surrealism through the streets of New York City for there single “They Come to Get Us”.

If you like this song, i’d suggest listening to the official remix by Designer Drugs. Its basically just an extended version of this song, but i prefer it over the original by 10 fold.
