Experimental electronic band The Death Set, bring us a music video featuring an army of pop culture surrealism through the streets of New York City for there single “They Come to Get Us”.
If you like this song, i’d suggest listening to the official remix by Designer Drugs. Its basically just an extended version of this song, but i prefer it over the original by 10 fold.
A hyper-political R.A.P. Music track by hyper-political rapper, Killer Mike
Im not the type to get too deep about most things, especially politics, but Killer Mike brings a different type of rap via a psychedelic hyper-political music video which really brings light to why things are so difficult for some. To how the American system got so messed. Ironic considering Reagan helped America dig itself out of its economic problem, which ultimately lead to the start of “Reagan era” and its future ramifications.
A wise man once told me “politics will always be politics.”
Found this video while searching for a song by the same name my friend told me about. Sadly i never found the song my friend played but ended up finding this trippy video, so i guess enjoy for this monday!
Music video for “Black Mirror” by Canadian alternative band Arcade Fire off the album “Neon Bible” I guess you could say that Father has brought you all down his bible to read for this Monday.
Arcade fire is an amazing alternative band, i would highly recommend giving them the old listen. Either there first album “Funeral” or there second “Neon Bible” is a good album to start on for them, “Funeral” if you like more folky psychedelic music, or “Neon Bible” if you like more dark alternative type psychedelic music.
On a side note, whenever i listen to this song or see it in my music i always remember the British anthology series “Black Mirror”, which is now on Netflix as an original series. I wont spoil much but its a psychological anthology series very reminiscent of “The Twilight zone” only instead of being in a warped reality of the 7th dimension, its in the very near future of ours. If you want to watch a really well crafted and good thinking show, then this is for you.
“Wonderland” by Caravan Palace off there album “<|°_°|>” AKA “Robot Face”
Caravan Palace specializes in the genre of “Electro Swing” which in my opinion is a very interesting and amazing sound they produce.
Theres only enough electro swing artists to fit on both of my hands but Caravan Palace is by far the best. If you want to go explore more of this genre and/or music then Caravan Palace’s “PANIC!’ album is where to start your journey my friend.
